Woody Blue

Woody Blue identifies herself as a radical lesbian feminist.  In the 80’s, she immersed herself in the peace movement and feminist politics. Ensconced on rural land in upstate NY next to the Seneca Army Depot, she practiced and trained women in the art of civil disobedience. Worn down by constant haranguing of federal security agencies, she ‘retired’ to Florida, taking up the study of massage and nutrition. From the ‘back room’ of her home, she has taken up flag-making, Betsy Ross style, advocating peace, energy conservation and supporting local economies. Her unique bicycle flags are an unspoken statement and hopefully an irritating thorn in the side of the oil industry.
